The local community raised £1million from grants and architectural heritage loans and managed to buy the pub, snatched out of the clutches of twat developers and Enterprise Inns who were intent on turning it into a block of housing.<br /><br />Now they're starting a community share issue to raise the money needed to refurbish the pub and bring it up to 21st century standards as a live venue and fantastic contemporary community resource<br /><br />Would you consider supporting them by simply letting them to add your name to roll call of people behind their campaign to raise the necessary cash? <br /><br />Would be great if you could.<br /><br />Best.
